Dobie Gillis, son of Herbert T. Gillis, a grocery store owner, is an average all-american teenager. Dobie is consumed with the things all red-blooded teenage boys are. Namely, beautiful girls, fancy cars and money. One thing he’s against is work and Dobie along with his pal Maynard G. Krebs to their best to avoid this plague on their girl-watching time.
