The Perry Como Show: Perry Como made the move to television when NBC initially televised the Chesterfield Supper Club radio program on December 24, 1948. In 1950, Perry moved to CBS and the show's title was changed to The Perry Como Chesterfield Show sponsored by Liggett & Myers' Chesterfield cigarettes. Como hosted this informal 15 minute musical variety series on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, immediately following the CBS Television News. Later Perry hosted half-hour versions of his show and moved into one hour variety shows. This collection includes 7 rare shows including two one hour shows.
